Course description: The "Scientists Need More! Project Management for Scientists" workshop offers a comprehensive one-day intensive program designed specifically for researchers in the natural sciences. Combining classical project management methods with modern AI-assisted approaches, this interactive workshop helps participants develop essential skills for successful research project management. Participants explore fundamental concepts including time management, prioritization, project management tools such as SMART goal setting, Gantt charts, SWOT analysis, and RACI matrices for stakeholder management. The classical project management tools are complemented by and AI integration. Specialized topics like team collaboration, communication techniques and negotiation are also covered. The program's hands-on approach includes interactive lectures, practical exercises, and real-world case studies, ensuring participants can immediately apply their learning to their research projects. The workshop provides optimal interaction and requires no prior project management experience. Through this carefully structured program, participants gain the tools needed to effectively manage complex research projects in modern scientific environments.
